ABSTRACT:
3 pages in length. Those who represent the guiding social forces of a civilized society maintain a special accountability where behavior is concerned; not only are community and global leaders alike expected to adhere to a strict code of ethics while in such an influential position, but they are also expected to harbor a genuine moral fortitude that will continue long after they have left office. When considering the potential for privatized law enforcement, it is clear how some alternative must be found in order to relieve the undue economic stress so many communities are experiencing as a direct result of continuing with inefficient and poorly functioning police departments. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
